Black & Decker 228003 Review – 18-Volt Cordless Pole Pruning Chain Saw

One of the more unique but convenient chain saws that we’ve come across is the Black & Decker 228003. Most chain saws don’t have the capability to extend on a pole to get the smaller branches but this one does. Because this tool is so specific as to what it does, the downside is that it cannot take on the tasks that a normal saw can such as cutting down full trees, splitting firewood or other major tasks. Poulan Pro PP4218AVX Review – 18 Inch 42cc Gas Chain Saw
Today’s review is the Poulan Pro PP4218AVX 18″ 42cc Gas Chain Saw. This saw is just one of the products that Poulan has brought out this year and we are looking forward to testing it. Out of the box, we have the chainsaw, carrying case and an extra chain.
First let’s cover the construction of this unit. Overall, it is a fairly solid machine but a few aspects of it such as the chain tensioning function and the cheap plastic fairings we would have like to see better materials used.
